疑問文の作り方（9割ここでミスる）
レッスン1・2で There is / There are の肯定文と否定文を学んだ。疑問文の作り方もシンプルだ。
is / are を文頭に出すだけ。there は小文字のまま残す。

be動詞の疑問文（Is she〜? / Are you〜?）と同じ操作で、is / are を先頭に引っ張り出すだけだ。そのとき there は小文字のまま後ろに残る点に注意しよう。
疑問文の公式
Is / Are + there + 名詞 ＋ 場所 ?
単数か複数かで Is / Are を使い分ける。この判断軸はレッスン1・2と同じだ。
例文：
- Is there a library near your house?（あなたの家の近くに図書館はありますか？）
- Are there any students in the gym?（体育館に生徒はいますか？）
- Is there a convenience store here?（ここにコンビニはありますか？）
疑問文でも any を使う
レッスン2で「否定文では some → any に変える」と学んだが、疑問文でも any を使う。
✅ Are there any buses to the station?（駅行きのバスはありますか？） ✅ Is there any milk in the fridge?（冷蔵庫にミルクは少しありますか？）
疑問文での any は「少しでも〜ありますか？」というニュアンスで、何かの有無を確認したいときに使う。some は肯定文、any は否定文・疑問文とセットで覚えておくと使い分けで迷わない。
Yes / No の答え方
Is there〜? / Are there〜? と聞かれたら、there is / there are をそのまま使って答える。

Is there〜? で聞かれたら there is / there isn’t、Are there〜? で聞かれたら there are / there aren’t で答える。質問と答えの is / are を対応させれば迷わない。
【よくあるミス①】there を There（大文字）にしてしまう
疑問文にするとき、Is / Are を大文字で文頭に出すのと混乱して there まで大文字にしてしまうケースがある。
✅ 正しい：Is there a cat on the table? ❌ 間違い：Is There a cat on the table?
文頭の Is / Are だけが大文字で、there は小文字のまま残す。「There is を分解して Is を先頭に出した」という操作のイメージを持つと混乱しにくい。
【よくあるミス②】Is there〜? に対して there are で答える
質問が Is there〜?（単数）なのに、答えを there are にしてしまうミスが起きやすい。
✅ 正しい：Is there a park? → Yes, there is. ❌ 間違い：Is there a park? → Yes, there are.
Is で聞かれたら is / isn’t で答え、Are で聞かれたら are / aren’t で答える。質問の最初の1語に注目するだけで正しい答えが選べる。

疑問文を作る3ステップ
ステップ① 名詞が単数か複数かを確認する → 単数なら Is、複数なら Are
ステップ② is / are を文頭に出し、there を小文字のまま続ける → Is there / Are there の形にする
ステップ③ 複数を聞くときは any を使う → Are there any〜? の形が自然
例題：「この近くにコンビニはありますか？」を英語にして、答えも作ると？
